How do I amend my appointment?
Please contact your chosen REVIV clinic at the earliest possibility to amend any details of your appointment.
What should I do before my vitamin shot appointment?
It is always a good idea to have something small to eat before receiving an IM vitamin booster shot. This can help minimize any potential side effects.
How long will my appointment take?
Your appointment includes a sign-in process that involves going through your medical questionnaire. This can take around 10 minutes to fully complete. Your vitamin shot can then be delivered directly into the muscle within a few seconds.
Will it hurt?
You’ll feel a slight scratch as the needle goes in. This will only last a few seconds. To minimize discomfort, your clinical practitioner will apply a localized numbing spray, if required. Be assured that our practitioners are fully trained in making sure your appointment is as comfortable as possible.
What should I do after my appointment?
Try to leave your band-aid on for at least 15 minutes after the injection. You may notice slight bruising or soreness at the puncture site. This should not last long. If you have received an injection of vitamin D, please do not take oral vitamin D supplements unless otherwise stated by your doctor.
How soon will I feel the effects of a vitamin shot?
The effects depend on your own personal physical and health status. You may feel the effects the next day or it may take a course of shots before you notice or feel any effects.
How often can I have vitamin shots?
This depends on the individual and your reasons for having vitamin shots.
During your consultation or appointment, your practitioner will be able to establish how often you personally should have them based on past medical history, wellness goals and whether you’re deficient in the vitamin, or simply want to maintain your levels.
If you’re using Slimboost shots to help support a weightloss goal then you may be recommended to have them once or twice a week for a short period of time, in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise regime.
Can I have two different vitamin shots at the same time?
Yes. Ask your practitioner about which IMs work well together.
Can I have a vitamin shot at the same time as an IV?
Yes. Our vitamin shots complement our IV therapies. Ask your practitioner about this at your next appointment.
Are vitamin shots safe?
Vitamin shots are invasive and any invasive medical therapy carries some risk. However, REVIV clinics are led by highly qualified doctors adhering to stringent medical protocols and safety standards. Our practitioners are licensed and trained registered professionals with years of experience. To date, we’ve conducted more than 1million therapies globally.
Are the ingredients in vitamin shots tested?
